Tourism and Hospitality section invites presentations and papers about trends and current issues in the sector, such as sustainability, green tourism, experiential travel and tourism, health tourism, cultural tourism, personalised experiences and travel, technological innovations/MI in tourism and hospitality. The section welcomes all studies related to topic of tourism and hospitality.

 

Hungary's Foreign Policy in the Past 12 Years. Geostrategic Successes, Contradictions, Dilemmas

 

Katalin Bándy

This section invites presentations and papers related to Hungary's foreign policy over the past decade. These may cover Hungary's efforts to find new markets, investments and cooperation in the fields of energy, economy and trade, as well as other features of trade and infrastructure investments, other criticisms, dilemmas, successes and contradictions of foreign policy. The section welcomes all studies directly or indirectly related to the foreign policy of Hungary. 

 

Demography and Economy

 

Éva Berde

The Demography and Economy section welcomes presentations and papers on the economic consequences of demographic changes. Topics might include the economic growth driven by an increased share of the working-age population, the challenges in the labour market and economy stemming from the current or past decline in birth rates, labour market opportunities for older individuals, the provision of training opportunities for the younger generation, their appropriate integration into the labour market, and the economic impact of emigrating or immigrating populations. The section invites all studies directly or indirectly related to the interplay between demography and economy.

 

Succession in Family Businesses

 

Tibor Dőry

The section on the Succession in Family Businesses invites presentations and studies related to family entrepreneurships, and in particular to the succession of its managers. This could cover topics such as generational change, training of family business managers, the effectiveness of mentoring programmes and advisory services, the position and role of women managers, the integration of non-family members into a family business, the challenges of the digital age, the transfer of values and knowledge, and alternative career paths and opportunities for family businesses. The section welcomes papers directly or indirectly related to family businesses.

 

Creativity and Social Media

 

Szandra Gombos

The session on Creativity and Social Media invites papers and presentations on two main themes. On the one hand, the results of research related to the creative and cultural industries (CCI), which may examine the industry from a tourism, regional, economic, sociological or even marketing perspective. On the other hand, studies related to social media, which mainly touch upon the world of social media from a consumer, marketing communication, commercial, economic or sociological perspective. The section welcomes studies with an interdisciplinary approach closely or indirectly related to the topic.

 

Marketing Challenges and Responses

 

Veronika Keller

The session welcomes presentations and papers on marketing and today's challenges and trends. This could include consumer behaviour, green marketing, health management, sustainability and technological challenges or even artificial intelligence. The section welcomes all studies that relate directly or indirectly to the marketing challenges of the 21st century, including interdisciplinary approaches.

 

Corporate/Organisational Communication and Culture: Challenges, Strategic Issues and Trends

 

Márta Konczosné Szombathelyi

The section welcomes papers and studies that address the diverse and dynamically changing challenges, issues and good practices of strategic communication and culture in and out of the globalisation and technology transfer era. Related topics may include internal communication in organisations, the relationship between communication and well-being at work, the role and importance of corporate communication in the age of digitalisation, internal communication and corporate culture, crisis communication, corporate storytelling, executive communication, the impact of technological innovations on corporate communication and culture. The session welcomes papers on all topics directly or indirectly related to corporate and organisational communication and culture.

 

Corporate Risk and Insurance

 

Norbert Kovács

The section welcomes presentations and papers that examine the insurance market and deal with corporate risk and risk management. Related topics include risk assessment, risk management, risk transfer and other presentations related to the market insurances. The section welcomes all papers related directly or indirectly to the topic of corporate risk and insurance.

 

Navigating Corporate Dynamics: Insights from Business Economics and Strategy

 

Attila Kurucz 

The section welcomes presentations and studies that explore corporate dynamics, business economics, and strategic decision-making.  Related topics include organizational structures and design, leaderships and management styles, change management, organizational design, corporate culture and values, decision making processes, data-driven decision making, organizational learning and knowledge management, organizational behaviour and conflict management. All the papers are invited that deal with the corporate ecosystems, unveil business economics and strategic imperatives, or related to areas of business management. 

 

Digital Supply Network and Sustainability

The section is open for the presentations and studies on the trends, problems and solutions of strategic and operational issues of digitalization and sustainability in supply networks. Related topics could include inventory management, inventory synchronisation, procurement and manufacturing efficiency, logistics network optimisation, strategic partnerships, digitalisation, circular economy and sustainable transport solutions in supply chains.  The section welcomes all studies related to this topic, directly or indirectly related to the digitisation of supply chains and their sustainability.

 

Economic and Social Issues, Dilemmas and Possible Responses 


Dániel Róbert Szabó

The section welcomes papers and studies that address current economic and social issues and dilemmas. These include economic recovery after the Covid-19 epidemic, green transition and sustainability, digitalisation and technological transformation, demographic challenges, labour market inequalities and their economic implications. The section welcomes papers related to these areas, but also invites other studies exploring other economic and social issues.
