This Special Issue explores how artificial intelligence shapes the global transition to renewable energy. Contributions may examine solar, wind, biomass, and hydropower development; international comparisons; governance; ethical and legal questions, and regional differences in adoption. The issue connects technologival innovation with social, economic, and environmental perspectives, aiming to clarify how intelligent systems can support energy security, climate neutrality, and widely accepted renewable energy pathways across diverse national and policy contexts.
