Aim and Scope: Asian Education and Development Studies (AEDS) is the official journal of the Asia Pacific Higher Education Research Partnership (APHERP), promoting interdisciplinary research on education and development in the Asia-Pacific region. The journal prioritises studies with strong policy relevance and practical implications, addressing areas such as higher education internationalisation, economic development, human well-being, digital transformation, governance, and sustainability. AEDS welcomes theoretically grounded and methodologically robust contributions, including cross-regional comparisons, that enhance global understanding and support evidence-based policymaking for inclusive and sustainable development.
