Aim and Scope:

Exploring the Interrelation of Human Resource Management and Corporate Performance Using Systems Thinking, a special issue of Systems examines the complex relationship between human resource management (HRM) and corporate performance through a systemic and interdisciplinary perspective. The Special Issue focuses on how strategic HR functions and emerging organizational challenges interact within interconnected organizational systems rather than as isolated management practices.

The issue welcomes theoretical, empirical, and methodological studies addressing topics such as employee retention, psychological safety, leadership development, employee well-being, job crafting, talent management, organizational learning, and AI-based HR systems. Particular emphasis is placed on systems thinking approaches, including system dynamics, complexity theory, and holistic organizational analysis, to better understand feedback loops, interdependencies, and organizational adaptation processes.

The Special Issue aims to bridge HRM, management science, and systems science by encouraging innovative research on the impacts of digitalization, artificial intelligence, workplace transformation, and employee well-being in modern organizations. Contributions are invited from researchers exploring how systemic approaches can support sustainable organizational performance, resilience, and long-term strategic development.
