Inclusivity, Equity and Experience in Accessible Tourism

Aim and Scope:

This Special Issue explores accessible tourism through the interconnected perspectives of inclusion, social equity, visitor experience, and social sustainability. It welcomes theoretical and empirical contributions examining how tourism destinations and service providers can improve accessibility through service design, destination management, policy and governance, technological innovation, co-creation, and market development. The collection aims to advance understanding of accessible tourism as an essential dimension of responsible and socially sustainable tourism, while supporting more inclusive and equitable tourism experiences for people with disabilities and other access needs.
