MALING-PIC.webp Dr. Maling Ebrahimpour is a Professor of Supply Chain Management and Lean Six Sigma Coordinator at the University of Rhode Island's College of Business. With extensive AACSB accreditation experience, he has also served as Dean at URI and the University of South Florida Saint Petersburg, leading award-winning programs. An organizer for TEDxURI, he teaches globally and holds board positions in several organizations. Recognized with the International Shingo Prize for his quality management contributions, Dr. Ebrahimpour has numerous publications in top-tier journals.

 

Marco CUCCULELLI
Universita' Politecnica delle Marche, Italy

Marco-CUCCULELLI.png Marco Cucculelli (PhD Rome) is Professor of Applied Economics at the Università Politecnica delle Marche (Italy) and director of the PhD program in Economics. He is Secretary General of the Italian Economic Association and Fulbright Distinguished Chair at the University of Pittsburgh (USA). He has published in several international journals on innovation, corporate finance, entrepreneurship and applied economics, and he is an Associate Editor of the Italian Economic Journal, JSBM and JSBE. He has been a visiting scholar at Indiana University (USA), St. Andrews University (Scotland) and Krakow University of Economics (Poland). He is a founding member of the Industry Studies Association (USA) and the Asian Entrepreneurship Association, and was elected as Director at-large (2012-14) to the Board of the International Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship – ICSB, Washington, D.C. (USA).

 

Jessica LICHY

Professor of Marketing

IDRAC photo J Lichy.png Jessica Lichy has a PhD and post-doctoral degree (HDR) in online/digital user behaviour. Passionate for digital, she is full professor at IDRAC Business School (France) and Visiting Professor at University of Sunderland Faculty of Business, Law & Tourism. Research interests include sustainable digital transformation, business modelling, inter-generational and intercultural digital user behaviour, socio-materiality and sociotechnical disparity. Research-in-progress involves examining emerging trends in technology-enhanced living, from a user perspective. Jessica holds positions on editorial boards including Canadian Journal of Administrative Science, International Journal of Organizational Analysis, Journal of Management Development. She is actively involved in organising collaborative academic projects, teaching exchanges and international research conferences.  

 

Markku KUULA
Professor of Aalto University

Markku Kuula_1.jpg Markuu Kuula is a Professor of Aalto University, an AACSB-accredited business school. In his academic career he has worked as a researcher, teacher, administrator and director of IT services. He was the university's director of information management for thirteen years and the head of the academic department for nine years. During his career, he has served on several university development committees, 40 of which were formed to select new professors for the university. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of Aalto University's Professors' Council, representing 400 professors in the university's decision-making process. In this position, he is in frequent contact with the university's governing board and president. During his career, he has served on the boards of several companies.

 

Kamil PÍCHA
University of South Bohemia Faculty of Economics, Czech Republic

_kamil_pícha_1.jpg Kamil Pícha is an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Czech Republic, where he served as head of the Department of Trade and Tourism, vice-dean for international relations and currently as vice-head of the Department of Trade and Tourism. He is responsible for the master study programme "Economics and Management" and managing director of the trinational master study programme „Regional and European Project Management“. His research interests include consumer behaviour, promotion of local production and local development, food marketing, retail management and environmental aspects of tourism and business operations. He is editor-in-chief of the Deturope journal and a member of the Society of scientific experts in tourism in the Czech Republic.

Registration and fees

Participation includes conference attendance for one author per publication, networking events, and facultative programs. The registration fee also includes refreshments.

Participants will have the opportunity to publish the selected papers in one of the following:

  • Book of Abstracts
  • Conference Proceedings (which will be submitted for the WoS evaluation process after publication)
  • Special Issue
  • WoS/Scopus indexed partner journals
