Aim and Scope:

Logistics and Supply Chain Challenges and Solutions in the Turbulent World, special issue of Logistics (ISSN 2305-6290) focuses on current challenges and innovative solutions in logistics and supply chain management. The Special Issue welcomes research addressing the impacts of global turbulence — including geopolitical instability, labor shortages, environmental challenges, economic crises, and cybersecurity threats — on logistics systems and supply chain operations.

Particular emphasis is placed on digital transformation and emerging technologies, such as automation, artificial intelligence, digital twins, augmented reality, cobots, and Logistics 4.0 and 5.0 approaches. The Special Issue aims to present scientific and practical contributions that support the development of smarter, more sustainable, and more resilient logistics systems.

Relevant topics include procurement, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, reverse logistics, urban logistics, last-mile delivery, and global transportation systems.
