Presentation Upload Guide

Authors presenting at the Kautz Conference on Business and Economics 2026 are kindly requested to upload their presentation to the Microsoft CMT platform before the conference.

Presentations may be uploaded in Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF format.

Please note that you must also provide the name of the presenting author during the upload process. The presenting author should be the person who will deliver the presentation in person at the conference.

Authors are welcome to use the official Kautz Conference presentation template available below.

The use of the template is recommended but not mandatory. Authors may also use their own institutional or personal presentation design.

Author Guidelines – Presentation upload (CMT System)

Presentations for the conference must be uploaded through the Microsoft CMT platform.

1. Access the Conference Portal

Open the Microsoft CMT platform.

Sign in using the account associated with your conference submission.

Select KautzConf2026 – Kautz Conference on Business and Economics 2026 from the list of your conferences.

2. Open the Author Console

After entering the conference portal, select Author Console from the top menu.

The Author Console displays all papers associated with your account.

3. Start the Presentation Upload

Find the relevant paper in the Author Console.

In the Actions column, locate the Camera Ready section and click:

Create Camera Ready Submission

Please note that, despite the name of this function, this is where you can upload the presentation for your conference paper.

4. Select the Presenting Author

During the submission process, you must indicate the presenting author.

Please select the author who will deliver the presentation in person at the conference.

This step is especially important for papers with multiple authors. Please verify the selected name carefully before finalising the submission.

5. Upload the Presentation

Upload your presentation in one of the following formats:

• Microsoft PowerPoint presentation

• PDF document

After selecting the file, complete the required fields and submit the presentation.

Please make sure that:

• you upload the presentation belonging to the correct paper;

• the presentation file opens correctly;

• the latest version of the presentation is uploaded;

• the presenting author is selected correctly.

6. Confirm the Upload

After completing the submission, return to the Author Console and check the Files column.

If the upload was successful, your presentation file will be displayed in this column.

If you are presenting more than one paper, please repeat the process separately for each submission.

Important information:

• Presentations must be delivered in person at the conference.

• Please upload your presentation by 25 September 2026.

• Selecting the presenting author is a mandatory part of the upload process.

• The official Kautz Conference presentation template is optional.

• Please bring a backup copy of your presentation on a USB drive.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot see the Create Camera Ready Submission option:

1. Make sure you are signed in with the same CMT account that was used for the original submission.

2. Check that you have opened the correct conference: KautzConf2026.

3. Confirm that the relevant paper appears in your Author Console.

4. If the problem continues, please contact the conference team and include the title and CMT ID of your paper in your message.
