Aim and Scope: This Special Issue explores the complex interrelationships between Human Resource Management (HRM) and corporate performance from a systemic perspective. Moving beyond traditional HR functions, it focuses on strategic and emerging areas—such as employee retention, psychological safety, leadership development, well-being, job crafting, talent management, and AI-based systems—as interconnected elements of a broader system. Contributions may include theoretical, empirical, or methodological studies applying system dynamics, complexity theory, or organizational learning approaches. The Special Issue highlights hidden feedback loops and cross-disciplinary insights, addressing timely challenges related to digitalization, workforce transformation, and the growing role of artificial intelligence.
