of the Early Career Advisory and Scientific Board

Purpose

The purpose of the Early Career Advisory and Scientific Board is to establish an international network of young researchers whose research activities are connected to the thematic areas of the Kautz Conference on Business and Economics. The Board aims to strengthen academic community building, support the scientific quality of the conference, and create a scientific platform that provides early career researchers with professional visibility and active involvement opportunities.

Activities and Responsibilities

Members of the Early Career Advisory and Scientific Board may: 

• support the international visibility of the conference through their professional networks,  

• contribute as co-chairs in thematic sessions or panels,  

• participate in the review process of submitted papers in accordance with the conference’s quality assurance standards,  

• contribute to the development of the conference’s scientific community, 

• participates in the conference in person.

• appearance on the official conference website as a member of the Early Career Advisory and Scientific Board,  

• official Certificate of Membership,  

• international professional visibility and networking opportunities,  

• opportunity to serve as co-chair, reviewer, or session secretary,  

• registration fee waiver for conference participation even after the early bird registration period,  

• long-term opportunity for involvement in the scientific and professional community of the conference.  

Eligibility Criteria

An early career researcher is defined as a scholar who: 

• is currently a PhD candidate, or  

• obtained their PhD degree within the last five years,  

• conducts research related to one or more thematic tracks of the conference,  

• has at least one relevant conference presentation or scientific publication,  

• is willing to undertake reviewer, co-chair, or session secretary responsibilities.  

Membership Conditions 

• Membership may be obtained through application or invitation.  

• Membership decisions are made by the Scientific Committee of the conference.  

• Membership is granted for a defined period, typically for one conference cycle.  

• Active membership requires at least one professional contribution related to the scientific activities of the conference.

• motivation letter, 
• academic CV,
• list of publications and conference presentations.
