Kautz Conference 2025 Submission guide

Step 1: Access the Conference Portal

1. Open your web browser and go to the CMT website: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/
2. If you already have an account, click "Sign In" and enter your credentials.
3. If you are new to CMT, click "Register" to create an account.

Step 2: Register for KautzConf2025

1. Once logged in, navigate to the "All Conferences" page.
2. In the search bar, type "KautzConf2025" and click "Search".
3. Click on the conference name (Kautz Conference on Business and Economics, Transforming Global Challenges into Opportunities 2025, KautzConf2025) to access the main page.
4. If required, click "Register as Author" to enable the submission option.
5. Then KautzConf2025 will be easily accessible on the “My conferences” page.

Step 3: Create a New Submission

1. After registering, click on "Author Console" in the top menu.
2. Click "Create New Submission".
3. Fill in the required details:
• Title of your paper
• Authors (add co-authors if needed)
• Choose the subject area which best fits your topic. Please note that there are 13 subject areas to choose from but not all of them are visible on the screen at once, you may have to scroll to see them all.
• Abstract. We use structured abstract so you should fill a form with the sections (eg. keywords, conclusions… ) of your abstract. You do not need to upload your abstract as a separate document.
4. It is very important to state what your goal is with your KautzConf2025 application.
• You can choose to submit only the Abstract and thus publish only in the Book of Abstracts.
• You can choose to publish in the Conference Proceedings.
• You can choose to publish a full paper in a journal. In this case, you need to select the journal of your choice and upload the article (docx format) either now or at a later date. Later upload is possible in the CMT interface, on the "Edit Submission" page.
5. Click "Submit" to finalize your submission.

Step 4: Confirm Your Submission

• After submission, you can view and edit your paper under "Author Console" before the deadline.
• You should receive a confirmation email.
  Emails are sent from Microsoft CMT - never reply to these emails directly - no one reads them.
